I borrowed an old Minolta camera from Kerry's dad. I love it! It is old and heavy but it works well. Plus I'm one of the few people who have a film camera.
The other day we brought our pictures to class to show our trials (and in my case errors) of shutter speed and aperture. I had my film developed and for some reason a lot of the photos looked really old. Turns out my lens wasn't changing aperture at all. So all the pictures I took were all way overr exposed. Turns out my mistake made for some really awesome pictures.

I love that you are taking a photography class!
Did you keep the "broken" lens? If you did, I think we should label it the Holga lens and do more experimenting with it. I love the effects.
Hopefully we'll foom a digital SRL soon.
